CLONKING KNEE - NECK PAIN - BUTTOCK PAIN - BACK PAIN & PINCHED NERVES
AFTER TRIPLE BY-PASS
My daughter put me on to Diana, after tying so many other things over a period of nearly a year, nothing seemed to work and I was feeling very low and depressed, with so much pain and little sleep, so I must admit I had not heard of Bowen's Therapy and was a bit sceptical about it at first, as I did not want anything that was going to be too severe, as I was recovering from a Triple Bypass opp, which had left me with pinched nerves and a bad neck and buttocks. So Diana had quite a job on her hands.
The procedure that was used was so gentle, I just couldn't believe it was going to work. After a about 3 visits I was sleeping again which was the best thing, then I was able to drive again, which gave me my independance back and that was great.
On my last visit she asked me if there was anthing else wrong with me while I am here, my reply was I've got a clonking knee, but have had that for a number of years and laughed it off. So she picked my leg up and bent it a few times and said I've never heard anything like that before. So she worked on that then, and now no more clonking knee. I'm almost normal again and what a wonderful feeling.

FROZEN SHOULDER
I had a frozen shoulder for 2 years. I had tried everything from chiropractors to physio therapy. Nothing worked. After my partner had great results with Bowen Therapy I thought I would try it myself. How shocked was I when after a few simple moves I could almost raise my arm straight out to the side. Diana told me that the Bowen would keep working over the next few days and to see how my arm went. Within 3 days I could reach over my head. What a relief! I would fully recommend Bowen Therapy to anyone with a Frozen Shoulder. If only I had heard of this 2 years ago!

BACK PAIN
I have suffered back pain for years, often taking pills to ease the pain. Not only did Bowen get rid of my back pain, I also don't get the pain as often now. It seems the more I have Bowen done, the bigger space between treatments.

SCOLIOSIS
My daughter Anna was diagnosed with scoliosis in February 2001. Anna is 13 years old and was told by her specailist that she would eventually require surgery as she was too mature for a brace. Her curvature was 43 degrees right thoracic curve and 24 degrees left lumbar. There was a noticeable increase in her curve after seeing the specailist. At this point I had decided with Anna to try every alternative means possible. Anna tried several alternative therapies, but it was the Bowen Technique over a period of time by a Bowen Therapist Sally in Kerikeri that made the most difference. Bowen Therapists have a treatment specifically for Scoliosis. It has really helped with the hump and the uneven shoulders, and is fantastic for the any pain. I haven't had another xray done on Annas back as she had so many previously, I don't want her exposed to that if its not necessary. We are absolutely delighted in the results and needless to say we were pretty excited about passing this knowledge on to others. Meanwhile, I have studied Bowen Therapy myself so I can treat her privately.
