I have always been one to look outside the square, so when dieting wasn’t working for me the first thing I questioned was why?
Why were there thousands if not millions of people around the world still struggling with their weight, when there were so many diets out there?
Looking around me I could see other people also struggling with dieting. Their intentions were good, but it was always so hard. Sometimes they would last a few weeks other times several months, even a couple of years if they were really committed. But the regime they had put themselves on just couldn’t be kept up forever. There was always going to be a time when it would all collapse and then they would go back to the way they were before they started their diet.
Often they will make up lost time by eating three times as much as they would of before they started dieting. Thus, making them feel totally out of control. This creates a lot of stress and strips a lot of confidence each time they diet.
Once this feeling of not being in control took hold of me, I just couldn’t help myself. It wouldn’t be until the evening that I could hear a voice saying to me, that is it, I am definitely going to start my diet in the morning. Then, the next morning, as per usual the whole cycle would start again. Some days were good and some days were totally out of control. It was easy to eat my way through a packet of biscuits, bars of chocolate and numerous other food items and somehow excuse myself, as I was having a bad day or times were stressful.
When I heard myself and others say they just couldn’t control what they were eating, or how much they were eating, something dawned on me. We needed to be in total control of our eating habits. It was like a flash of lightening, striking me so suddenly that I had to take notice of it. .
This book will contradict everything you know about weight loss including what dieticians and personal trainers normally recommend.
Most books on weight loss emphasize the importance of eating low carbohydrate foods, counting the calories, cutting out the treats, exercising and focusing on foods that are good for you. Often these sorts of diets only work short term.
I spent plenty of money on different diets and diet books over the years and found that a lot of diets work for a while, but are very difficult to maintain over a long period of time. Hence “yo-yo” dieting begins. It was when I took a step back from these diets and analyzed them, that I then developed this process, using bits and pieces from all of them with an addition of common sense. It worked! It was such a natural and easy way of losing weight and maintaining it that I wanted to share this information with you.
